The LizardMudgeon Vean is situated in a superb location in an area of outstanding natural beauty with the rugged coastline of the Lizard Peninsula nearby, ideal for walkers and families alike. The farm is bordered by a beautiful National Trust footpath to the Helford Estuary, offering the peace and tranquillity that has inspired many authors including Daphne du Maurier in her novel Frenchman’s Creek. The estuary views are amongst Cornwall’s finest. Ideal country for the serious and causal walker or birdwatcher. Within easy reach are places like the Lizard Lighthouse, Helston, Penzance, St. Ives, Falmouth and Truro. The Eden Project at St. Austell is a must for those visiting Cornwall. The Legendary Tintagel Castle and its connection with King Arthur and Merlin, or Padstow, which has received acclaim on National TV. Cornwall has a long history and heritage for you to explore, everything from castles, fine houses and gardens to tin mining and smuggling, or you may wish to visit the many galleries that are available or one of our safe sandy beaches.
